Calvin Abueva undergoes seminar on GAB code of conduct as part of pro license reinstatement

Calvin Abueva is one step closer to getting back his license as a professional basketball player.

On Monday, Games and Amusements Board chair Abraham Mitra posted a photo of Abueva attending an online seminar on the Code of Conduct of a Professional Player and gender sensitivity issues.

GAB has decided to reinstate Abueva's playing license subject to two conditions: the seminar and a drug test.

Abueva is currently inside the PBA bubble in Clark, Pampanga while waiting for the go signal to join the games. The Beast has joined team workouts and conditioning.

There is no official word yet if the league will lift Abueva's suspension anytime soon.

Abueva was suspended by the PBA in June last year after separate incidents with TNT Katropa import Terrence Jones and the girlfriend of an opposing player. —Justin Kenneth Carandang/MGP, GMA News
