TNT downs Alaska to punch semis slot
The TNT Tropang Giga knocked down the Alaska Aces, 104-83, on Saturday to punch a ticket in the PBA Philippine Cup semifinals.
Roger Pogoy dropped 34 points on six-of-ten triples, while Ray Parks listed 20 markers in the quarterfinals match.
After a tie at 51 to end the first half, the Tropang Giga made a 33-point onslaught against Alaska’s 15 to close the third period at 84-66.
TNT had their biggest lead at the 3:21 mark of the fourth quarter after a Troy Rosario layup widened the gap, 101-75.
The Tropang Giga will wait for the winner of the series between Phoenix and Magnolia for their next opponent.
