“We appreciate everyone’s eagerness to rejoin the bubble and we’re hopeful that the team will get to pick up where they left things off before they broke camp,” SBP president Al Panlilio said in a statement.

SBP also said it adhered to coronavirus protocols before they start their return to training.

The final window of the FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiers will be held in Clark on June 16-20. The Olympic Qualifiers, meanwhile, will be played on June 29-July 4 in Serbia.

In a previous interview with GMA News Online, Gilas program director Tab Baldwin said it had 'elite' practices in their previous camp but it was cut short due to the imposition of the enhanced community quarantine in Metro Manila and nearby provinces. — LA/BM, GMA News
