Trae Young injures ankle after stepping on ref's foot

As the Atlanta Hawks tried to take the series lead over the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 3 of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals, an unlucky incident happened to star player Trae Young.

With less than a minute left in the third quarter, as Young tried to pass a ball to his teammate, the Hawks guard stepped back into the foot of a referee and tweaked his ankle.

Young, however, was able to stand up and walk back to the locker room on his own, after staying on the floor for a short while.

He eventually returned to the game early in the fourth period.

"It's hurting, it's frustrating. It's hurting a little bit and sore," Young admitted in a post-game press conference.

The Hawks guard is set to have his MRI treatment on Tuesday (Manila time) and is hoping to be back just in time for Game 4 on Wednesday.

Young listed 35 points for the Hawks. However, the Bucks took the win, 113-102, and the 2-1 series lead.
