Kobe Paras scores 10 as Niigata picks up win against Kyoto

Kobe Paras and Niigata Albirex BB escaped the Kyoto Hannaryz, 76-75, in Division 1 of the Japan Professional Basketball League (B.League) on Sunday.

Paras, Niigata's Asian player and Filipino import, could not match his explosive debut but finished with a respectable 10 points and two rebounds in 27:12 minutes of action in the win.

The former University of the Philippines player on Saturday posted 25 big points in a Niigata defeat to Kyoto.

Rosco Allen and Yuhito Nomi chipped in 16 points each to lead Niigata, while David Simon led Kyoto with 21 points.

Niigata Albirex will play the San-en NeoPhoenix, Thirdy Ravena's team, next weekend.
