Juan Gomez de Liaño scoreless in limited minutes as Earthfriends Tokyo Z fall to Sendai 89ers again

The Sendai 89ers swept their matches against Juan Gomez de Liaño and the Earthfriends Tokyo Z after winning again on Monday, 82-64, in Division 2 of the Japan Professional Basketball League (B.League).

De Liaño was scoreless in only 8:19 minutes of action, but had one rebound and three assists in the game.

It was another wire-to-wire show of dominance for the 89ers which easily notched their fourth win in six games. Tokyo Z, meanwhile, remained winless.

Shinya Takagi led the Earthfriends with 20 points and six rebounds, while Marc Eddy Norelia listed 18 markers and six boards in the losing affair.

Meanwhile, Shota Watanabe registered 20 points, five rebounds, and four assists for the 89ers. Hayato Kantake added 15 while Jeroum Mainse chipped in 14 points for the win.

Gomez de Liaño and the Earthfriends will next see action this weekend against Fighting Eagles Nagoya.
