Jack Animam posts 28 and 15 as Radnicki turns back Duga Sabac to snap two-game skid

Jack Animam was in her element to steer Radnicki Kragujevac past Duga Sabac, 81-72, as they finally snapped their two-game losing streak in the First Women's Basketball League of Serbia  on Saturday night (Manila time).

The Filipino cager posted another monster performance, finishing with 28 points on 13-of-15 shooting from the field, to go along with 15 rebounds, six assists, three steals, and five blocks.

The win improved Radnicki's standing to 2-2, bouncing back from two consecutive losses they've had over the past two weeks.

The 6-foot-5 beanpole didn't miss anything in the first half, churning out 16 points on 7-of-7 shooting from the field, alongside 10 rebounds to help Radnicki grab a four-point cushion at the break, 44-40.

Then in the third, Animam was even more unstoppable after the former National University standout detonated for 10 of Radnicki's 24 points in the frame as they built a 10-point margin from Duga, 68-58.

Duga Sabac momentarily gained their rhythm after bringing the game into a one-possession affair, 68-66, with Radnicki still holding the lead. Animam, however, grabbed a huge rebound and shot the basket for a 70-66 upper hand.

Duga Sabac tried to mount a late comeback but time just wasn't on their side as Radnicki cruised to their second win.

After opening the season with a 78-77 victory over Proleter 023 three weeks ago, Radnicki absorbed back-to-back losses to defending champion ZKK Crvena zvezda and Kraljevo, all of which saw Animam post double-double efforts.

Next up for Animam and Radnicki is Vrsac on October 30.
