Troy Rosario 'doubtful' for Game 4, may need to undergo surgery
TNT Tropang Giga big man Troy Rosario may not see action in Game 4 of the 2021 PBA Philippine Cup Finals.
Team manager Gabby Cui said Rosario, who was rushed to the hospital after a bad fall in Game 3 on Sunday, is 'doubtful' for a return as he may need to undergo surgery.
Cui, in a message to GMA News Online, said Rosario is suffering from "spinal shock causing only 70% sensation on his left leg" as well as an open finger dislocation.
A flagrant foul was called on Magnolia's Jackson Corpuz in the play that led to Rosario's bad landing.
TNT eventually lost to Magnolia, 106-98, but they still lead the best-of-seven Finals series, 2-1.
TNT team owner Manuel V. Pangilinan and player Poy Erram took their thoughts about the physical Game 3 to social media after the game.
The fourth game of the series is slated for Wednesday.
