Juan Gomez de Liaño, Tokyo Z grab first win at the expense of Ehime
Juan Gomez de Liaño and the Earthfriends Tokyo Z have finally broken out of their slump as they thrashed the Ehime Orange Vikings, 98-65, in Division 2 of the Japan B.League (B2) on Friday at the Ota Gymnasium.
With the victory, Tokyo Z barged into the win column after 13 straight losses to start the season. Ehime, meanwhile, dropped to 3-11.
Gomez de Liaño produced seven points, four assists, and a steal in almost 26 minutes of action while two of his teammates, Joshua Crawford and Marc Eddy Norelia, posted double-doubles.
Crawford finished with 29 markers and 13 rebounds while Norelia carved out 24 points and 15 boards while also dishing out nine assists.
Tokyo Z will be back in action on Saturday, November 20, at 2 p.m. against the same opponent.
