TNT, Sista Super Sealers early leaders in PBA 3x3 second leg

TNT Tropang Giga saw their game winning streak snapped but still emerged as one of the early leaders in the PBA 3x3 second leg on Wednesday at Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

TNT, who ruled leg 1 over the weekend, first defeated Zamboanga, 21-18, which was then followed by a 21-17 victory over the Sista Super Sealers.

The Mau Belen-mentored team also came away with a 21-12 decision over the San Miguel Beermen, however, it fell to Cavitex Braves, 20-19, to close out day one of the second leg at the top of Pool A with 3-1 record.

Tied with them are Sista Super Sealers as both teams are now qualified to the quarterfinals.

In Pool B, Terrafirma swept all of its games with victories over Meralco, 17-14, and Barangay Ginebra, 19-17. The Bolts and the Limitless Appmasters, meanwhile, are tied at second place followed by the winless Ginebra.

Pioneer Pro Tibay and Platinum Karaoke, the current leaders in Pool C, have also booked their quarterfinals slot while Purefoods and NorthPort remained winless.

Preliminary round continues on Thursday followed by the playoff stage later in the day. – RC, GMA News
