Beau Belga stays with Rain or Shine, inks two-year extension

After several reports of a possible trade, big man Beau Belga has agreed to sign a fresh two-year extension deal with the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters on Friday.

Danny Espiritu, who represents the 6-foot-5 bruiser, confirmed the development to GMA News Online and shared that both Belga and the club agreed to the terms of the contract.

He, however, did not disclose the specifics of the deal.

Belga is now on his 11th year with the club and is now considered as one of the veterans within the team along with James Yap and Gabe Norwood.

Earlier this year, there were rumors that Belga could be rejoining his former coach Yeng Guiao in the NLEX camp, though the Road Warriors tactician bared in a previous interview that those trade talks have met a natural end.
