Kemark Cariño's Aomori snaps 11-game losing skid at the expense of Juan Gomez De Liaño's Earthfriends
Kemark Cariño and the Aomori Wat's finally put an end to their 11-game losing skid after dealing an 89-65 loss to fellow Filipino cager Juan Gomez de Liaño and his Earthfriends Tokyo Z in Division 2 of Japan B.League on Saturday.
Cariño, though, didn't log any minutes but his teammate Renaldo Dixon carried the team with his 21 points, eight rebounds, and four assists while Hiroki Usui chipped in 19 markers and four boards.
Gomez de Liaño, on the other hand, finished with two points, two rebounds, and three dimes in almost 25 minutes on the court while Joshua Crawford posted a double-double of 17 points and 13 boards.
The win by Aomori meant they forged a two-way tie with Earthfriends at 2-16. Both teams face off anew on Sunday at 1 p.m.
