Adelaide 36ers barge into win column with rout of Tasmania as Kai Sotto remains out

The Adelaide 36ers finally booked a win in the 2021 National Basketball League (NBL) after an 83-80 victory over the Tasmania JackJumpers at the MyState Bank Arena on Thursday night (Manila time).

With Kai Sotto still out due to knee soreness, Dusty Hannahs carried the load for the 36ers as the American guard listed 15 points, four assists, and three rebounds in 30 minutes of play.

Daniel Johnson added 14 markers while Mojave King and Todd Withers combined for 19 points as Adelaide improved to 1-2. Tasmania, meanwhile, fell to 1-1.

Adelaide's win came after back-to-back losses to the Perth Wildcats and Illawarra Hawks last week.

The 36ers hope to make it two victories in a row when they face the New Zealand Breakers on Sunday, December 12, at 12 p.m.
