NLEX routs Terrafirma for fourth straight win
NLEX kept its immaculate record intact after a dominant 116-86 dismantling of the Terrafirma Dyip in the 2021 PBA Governors' Cup on Saturday at the Araneta Coliseum.
Four Road Warriors reached the double-digit mark with import KJ McDaniels leading the way with an all-around output of 34 points, 13 rebounds, four assists, three steals, and three blocks as NLEX went 4-0 in the conference.
Kevin Alas finished with 20 points and three rebounds while Calvin Oftana and Kris Rosales chipped in with 14 and 10 markers, respectively.
The Dyip, on the other hand, got a solid performance from reinforcement Antonio Hester, who poured in 27 points, 11 rebounds, and two dimes but those numbers weren't enough as Terrafirma dropped to 1-3.
The game was tied at 47-apiece at the half before NLEX took control of the game in the third quarter.
The Road Warriors outscored the Dyip by 11 points in the third before exploding for 39 points in the final period to stretch the lead to 30.
