Platinum, SMB, Meralco book QF slots in PBA 3x3 Leg 6

Three teams have already clinched playoff spots in the sixth leg of the PBA 3x3 Lakas ng Tatlo tournament after the elimination games held on Monday in the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Platinum Karaoke dominated Pool A after getting wins over the Limitless Appmasters, 16-11, and Pioneer Pro Tibay, 21-12. Platinum got their other win by forfeiture against the injury-hit Zamboanga Valientes.

Meanwhile, the San Miguel Beermen registered wins against the Purefoods TJ Titans (22-16) and NorthPort (21-16) in Pool B to notch a quarterfinals slot. Meralco, meanwhile, dominated Pool C with wins over Barangay Ginebra (21-11) and Terrafirma Dyip (21-18).

The games will continue on Tuesday as the tournament looks for the Leg 6 champion.

TNT Tropang Giga, Meralco Bolts, Sista Super Sealers, Purefoods, and Limitless won the first five legs of the 3x3 tourney.
