Terrafirma trades Justin Melton to Blackwater for Ed Daquioag
Justin Melton is on the move again.
One month removed from a trade that saw him bid goodbye to the Magnolia Pambansang Manok Hotshots to transfer to Terrafirma, the 34-year-old veteran guard is again involved in a trade, this time to Blackwater.
Melton will be shipped to the Bossing in exchange for another journeyman Ed Daquioag.
The deal was confirmed on Friday through the PBA website.
This will be Melton's third team after playing for Magnolia from 2013 to early 2021 where he was able to help the squad bag four PBA titles, including the rare grand slam feat in 2014.
Meanwhile, Daquioag will suit up for his fifth team now. The former UST standout was drafted by Meralco where he played in 2016 and 2017 before getting traded to Rain or Shine in August 2017.
In 2020, he was traded twice, joining TNT in January before being sent to Blackwater the next month.
