Barangay Ginebra, San Miguel Beer clash as PBA returns to MOA Arena in January

The Philippine Basketball Association is set to return to the Mall of Asia Arena in January 2022.

In the PBA schedule for January 12-30 released on Thursday, games will be held in the MOA Arena on January 15 and 16, with Barangay Ginebra and San Miguel Beer capping off the games for the weekend. The league will then return to the Araneta Coliseum for their next games.

The league previously played in the facilities of the Angeles University Foundation and Don Honorio Ventura State University, both in Pampanga due to pandemic restrictions.

PBA also played some of its games in the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig, before it made its return to the Big Dome on December 15.

After the holiday break, PBA games will return on January 5 when the Magnolia Hotshots Pambansang Manok meet Blackwater Bossing, and the Alaska Aces face the Meralco Bolts.
