Tickets to 5 Gilas Pilipinas games in 2023 FIBA World Cup to be available on March 1

Tickets to five Gilas Pilipinas games in the group phase of the 2023 FIBA World Cup will be up for grabs starting March 1.

In the "Follow my Team Pass-Philippines," tickets will be available through early bird pricing for the national team's three games in the first round and two matches in the second round.

Category 2 or the lower box premium is priced at P52,999 while category 3 or the lower box regular can be bought at P41,499. Category 4 or the upper box is at P23, 499 and category 5 or general admission is P2,499.

Only 1,100 team passes will be sold online through FIBA's official website from March 1 to 31.

The Philippines is set to host the global conclave alongside Japan and Indonesia. The competition is slated from August 25, 2023 to September 10, 2023 in various venues in the three host countries.

"The journey for the FIBA World Cup 2023 in Manila starts now," said Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) president and FIBA Asia vice president Al Panlilio in a statement.

"Be the first to support your Gilas team by purchasing the Follow My Team Pass-Philippines. Together, let's win for all!"

The SBP also added that the Smart Araneta Coliseum, the SM Mall of Asia Arena, and the Philippine Arena will serve as venues for the Philippine hosting of the event.
