Scottie Thompson named PBA Season 46 MVP


Barangay Ginebra star Scottie Thompson is the Philippine Basketball Association Most Valuable Player for its 46th season.

He was officially awarded the top individual plum on Sunday in the league's Leo Awards at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Thompson, who was Best Player of the Conference and Finals MVP in the Governors' Cup, had 32.22 statistical points from 13.9 points, 9 rebounds, 5.4 assists and 1.24 steals per game.

The Ginebra star bested Calvin Abueva of Magnolia, Robert Bolick of NorthPort, and TNT rookie Mikey Williams for the said plum.
