Lee, Sangalang star as Magnolia rips Terrafirma for 4 wins in a row

Returning Paul Lee and Ian Sangalang conspired as Magnolia Chicken Timplados Hotshots added to Terrafirma's woes, 104-83, in the 2022 PBA Philippine Cup on Friday.

Lee, who was sidelined due to injury, came back gunning with 17 points off the bench to go along with two rebounds and two assists in 17 minutes of action as Magnolia improved to 5-3 behind a four-game winning streak.

Sangalang, meanwhile, chipped in 20 points, seven rebounds, two steals, and one block as they kept the Dyip winless in eight games.

Magnolia stepped on the gas early with Sangalang and Lee dropping 17 and 11 points of their overall output, respectively, in the first half alone where they led by 31 points, 64-33.

Terrafirma never saw the light of day as the Hotshots completed the win with their biggest lead of the game after a Calvin Abieva basket, 83-45, with 2:38 left in the third frame.

JP Calvo led Terrafirma with his 20 points, three assists, and two rebounds while Joseph Gabayni chimed in with 12 markers.
