NBA player Jalen Green takes on Filipino words during Manila visit

Houston Rockets' Jalen Green came prepared for his visit to Manila.

The Fil-Am NBA player held a press conference after his arrival in the Philippines on Wednesday for adidas Philippines’ JG4 Manila Tour.

In one segment, he was challenged about his knowledge about Filipino words.

Jalen was able to answer four out of five words given to him.

While he had it easy with words like “masaya,” “takbo,” and “buhok,” it was different when the word “patawarin” was given to him.

To cap the challenge, he was asked if he understood the phrase “Bababa ba?” and delighted everyone when he answered it correctly. —JCB, GMA News
