June Mar Fajardo is 2022 PBA Philippine Cup Best Player

June Mar Fajardo added another feather to his cap.

The San Miguel Beer big man on Sunday was named as the Best Player of the Conference of the 2022 PBA Philippine Cup, his ninth BPC award since joining the league in 2012.

At the end of the semifinals, Fajardo tallied averages of 18.6 points, 13.3 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 0.7 steals, and 1.4 blocks per game to get 41.5 average statistical points (SPs).

Fajardo had 501 points on statistics, 537 points on media votes, and 81 points on player votes for a total of 1119 points to get the title.

He bested his teammate CJ Perez, Barangay Ginebra's Scottie Thompson and Japeth Aguilar, and TNT Tropang Giga's Mikey Williams.

The 6-time MVP and the rest of the Beermen will try to take a 3-1 lead when they play TNT in Game 4 of the All-Filipino finals tonight.
