Yeng Guiao era ends in NLEX after 'mutual decision' to part ways
It is the end of an era for the NLEX Road Warriors.
The team announced on Friday that it has "mutually parted" ways with its head coach Yeng Guiao, who called the shots for the Road Warriors for five years.
"It was a mutual decision between the NLEX Road Warriors management and Coach Yeng Guiao to end the agreement," NLEX management wrote in a statement posted on its website.
NLEX also thanked Guiao for developing the team which reached the semifinals twice and was in the playoffs for the last three conferences at Guiao's helm.
"We wish Coach Yeng all the best in his future endeavors," NLEX added.
Under NLEX, Guiao held Gilas Pilipinas players such as Kiefer Ravena, Kevin Alas, and Calvin Oftana.
Guiao has not made any public pronouncements yet on his next moves.
