Ray Parks' Nagoya completes sweep of Mikawa; Jay Washington's Ryukyu picks up win


The Nagoya Diamond Dolphins completed its sweep of the SeaHorses Mikawa after an 84-74 win on Saturday in the Japan B.League.

Parks had 12 points in the win, while Coty Clarke led Nagoya with 20 points.

Jay Washington's team Ryukyu Golden Kings also picked up a win at the expense of Utsonomiya Brex, 81-52. Washington had two points in less than five minutes of action.

Meanwhile, Dwight Ramos' Levanga Hokkaido lost to the Akita Northern Happinets, 95-90. Ramos tallied 15 points and five rebounds in the loss.

Kiefer Ravena had 12 points in Shiga's 88-80 loss against the Gunma Crane Thunders, while his brother Thirdy's San-En Neophoenix had a close loss against Kawasaki Brave Thunders, 87-85. Thirdy went scoreless in the loss.

Matthew Wright also went scoreless in Kyoto Hannaryz' 92-65 loss against the Sendai 89ers, while Justine Baltazar did not play in the Hiroshima Dragonflies' loss to Yokohama B-Corsairs.

The teams who played on Saturday will play again on Sunday to wrap the B.League's opening weekend.
