Taylor posts 20-24, Mamuyac shines as Rain or Shine keeps Terrafirma winless

Rain or Shine import Steve Taylor, Jr. posted impressive numbers for the Elastopainters as they kept Terrafirma Dyip winless in three games, 106-94, on Sunday in the 2022 PBA Commissioner's Cup at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Taylor tallied 20 points and 24 boards to lead Rain or Shine to its second straight win.

After leading 75-66 at the end of the third period, Rain or Shine put the exclamation point in the fourth period as they made 31 against Terrafirma's 28 to take the win.

Aside from Taylor, rookie Gian Mamuyac also stood out with 17 points and five rebounds.

Lester Prosper had 20 points and 16 rebounds, while Juami Tiongson scored 17 in the loss of the Dyip.

Rain or Shine will try to continue on their streak on Sunday when they play the San Miguel Beermen, while Terrafirma will face the Meralco Bolts on Friday to gun for their first win in this conference.
