Andrew Nicholson drops 39 as Bay Area takes down Fajardo-less San Miguel
The guest team Bay Area Dragons took down the June Mar Fajardo-less San Miguel Beermen, 113-87, on Sunday in the 2022 PBA Commissioner's Cup at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Bay Area dominated most of the game and even led by as much as 30 in the third period, 86-56, with 1:04 left in the frame.
Import Andrew Nicholson dropped 39 points on top of his 12 rebounds to lead Bay Area.
Meanwhile, CJ Perez tallied 19 markers, 9 rebounds, and 6 assists, while Diamond Stone had 14 rebounds and 11 points for SMB.
Bay Area improved to 4-1 ahead of their match against Terrafirma on Friday while San Miguel went down to 1-2 before their game on Friday against Converge.
