Rakocevic's 26, balanced scoring from locals steer Magnolia to win vs NorthPort

Nick Rakocevic dropped a double-double to steer Magnolia to a 109-91 victory over NorthPort as the Hotshots remained immaculate in the 2022 PBA Commissioner's Cup on Sunday.

The Serbian import scattered 26 points, 14 rebounds, four assists, and two blocks while a balanced scoring effort from the locals saw the Hotshots pick up their fifth win in as many games.

Mark Barroca led the locals with 13 points, eight rebounds, and one steal while Jerrick Ahanmisi, Jio Jalalon, and Ian Sangalang each chipped in 10 markers.

The Batang Pier, who were coming off an 87-83 win over Blackwater, dropped to an even 3-3 slate.

Kevin Ferrer was solid for NorthPort as he registered 19 points while Prince Ibeh finished with 11 markers and 13 boards in the loss.
