McDaniels, Almazan combine for 47 to tow Meralco past TNT for third straight win

Import KJ McDaniels and big man Raymond Almazan combined for 47 points to tow the Meralco Bolts past the TNT Tropang Giga, 97-91, on Wednesday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

McDaniels tallied 26 points on top of his 15 rebounds, while Almazan had 21 points and 11 rebounds in the Bolts; third straight win.

TNT was leading 80-78 early in the fourth period before the Bolts made a 7-0 run to lead 85-80. Meralco then took control of the game despite TNT's attempts for a comeback.

Cameron Oliver posted 25 points and 20 rebounds, while Mikey Williams and Jayson Castro had 20 and 19 points, respectively in the TNT loss.

Both teams were tied at 4-5 after the game.

TNT will face Ginebra on Sunday while Meralco will face Magnolia on November 27.
