UAAP rescinds one-game suspension on La Salle's Fina Tchuido

The University Athletic Association of the Philippines rescinded the one-game suspension of De La Salle University's Fina Tchuido on Saturday.

Lady Archers head coach Cholo Villanueva on Friday appealed the case regarding Tchuido allegedly biting Kristine Cayabyab during a dead ball situation with 2:19 remaining in La Salle's game against National University.

However, the video evidence was inconclusive after the appeal which led to the decision of UAAP commissioner Richard Bachmann to rescind the suspension. 

Despite this, Tchuido will still be summoned by the league commissioner.

La Salle will play University of the East this afternoon.
