NorthPort acquires Terrafirma's Joshua Munzon for Kevin Ferrer

NorthPort Batang Pier continues to retool its roster ahead of the upcoming 2023 PBA Governors' Cup.

The league approved on Thursday NorthPort's acquisition of the rights to Joshua Munzon of Terrafirma Dyip in exchange for Kevin Ferrer.

The one-on-one trade happened days after NorthPort sent Allyn Bulanadi to San Miguel for Paul Zamar and San Miguel's 2025 second round draft pick.

In the recent Commissioner's Cup, Munzon posted averages of 8.75 points and 3.17 rebounds per game. Ferrer, meanwhile, averaged 6.25 points and 1.17 rebounds per game.

Munzon has been a part of Terrafirma since 2021 where he was drafted first overall, while the move will bring Ferrer to his third team after stints with Barangay Ginebra and NorthPort.
