Barangay Ginebra, Bay Area Dragons face off in PBA Commissioner's Cup-deciding Game 7

All roads will lead to Philippine Arena as Barangay Ginebra San Miguel and the Bay Area Dragons battle for all the marbles in Game 7 of the 2022 PBA Commissioner's Cup on Sunday.

The Dragons took Game 6 on Wednesday, 87-84, to force the rubber match.

Bay Area head coach Brian Goorjian said he will seize the opportunity to play in a Game 7.

"I've never been in a seven-game series," Goorjian said on Wednesday in a post-game conference.

"We're playing with the bank's money. Here, 50,000 or whatever it is, I hope every seat in that place is sold out and it's something that nobody forgets, and it's another special game of basketball like it is tonight and let the cards fall where they may," he added.

Barangay Ginebra head coach Tim Cone, meanwhile, hopes the team could pull something from out their sleeves in facing Bay Area import Myles Powell, who was someone they were not able to play before the finals.

"We have time now. We had like 45 minutes to set the game plan for him in our last practice. So hopefully, we'll have a little more time and think [about] what we're doing about it. Look at him a little bit [more]," said Cone as quoted in the PBA website.

"We haven't experienced him before. We didn't play him in the elims. So this was the first time we had him," he added.

Meanwhile, the league also provided free shuttles going to Bocaue, Bulacan for ticket holders of the said game. The trip is on a first-come, first-served basis and only those who availed of the bus going to the venue will be allowed to ride the shuttle back to Manila.
