Robert Bolick extends contract with NorthPort, to join Batang Pier until end of Governors' Cup
Robert Bolick has agreed to extend his contract with NorthPort, finally allowing him to suit up for the Batang Pier in their ongoing campaign in the 2023 PBA Governors' Cup.
Interim head coach Bonnie Tan said the 27-year-old guard has agreed to a contract extension and will play until the end of the season-ending conference.
"Oo, tatapusin niya 'yung conference. Tinuloy lang niya 'yung contract, bale inextend hanggang matapos 'yung conference," Tan told GMA Integrated News.
("Yes, he will finish the conference. He will just continue with the contract, it was extended until the end of the conference.")
Bolick has not played a single game this conference as his contract came to an end earlier this year.
With him back, NorthPort will look to improve their current standing at 0-4 after having lost to Converge, Meralco, NLEX, and Phoenix Super LPG.
Bolick was NorthPort's leading scorer in the previous Commissioner's Cup, where he averaged 21.67 points, 4.50 rebounds, 6.50 assists, and 0.58 steals to steer NorthPort to quarterfinals stint before eventually falling to Ginebra.
The San Beda product is expected to suit up this Friday against Ginebra.
