Platinum Karaoke downs Cavitex to rule PBA 3x3 Leg 5

Platinum Karaoke got its first leg title in the third conference of PBA 3x3 after taking down the Cavitex Braves in the Leg 5 finals, 17-15, in overtime on Sunday at Robinsons Las Piñas.

Yves Sazon made the game-winning shot to complete Platinum's comeback after being down 14-9.

Sazon tallied eight points while TH Tumalip had four points. Brandon Bates and Nico Salva had three and two points apiece.

Prior to the finals, Salva had a sprained ankle in their 21-18 semis win against TNT.

TNT settled for third after defeating Meralco, 21-20.

San Miguel, TNT, Ginebra, and Cavitex were the four previous leg winners in the third conference.
