Don Trollano detonates for 44 as NLEX sends Terrafirma crashing anew

Don Trollano piloted NLEX in its 142-125 victory against the slumping Terrafirma in the 2023 PBA Governors' Cup on Thursday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

The 31-year-old veteran exploded for 44 points on almost perfect three-point shooting to go along with three rebounds, and three assists as the Road Warriors secured their back-to-back wins to improve to 7-3.

With Trollano's detonation, NLEX sent Terrafirma to its fifth straight loss to drop to 2-7.

Wayne Anthony Selden Jr. dropped 38 points, eight assists, and six assists while Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser went out with a double-double outing of 19 markers, 12 boards, three dimes, two blocks, and one steal.

Juami Tiongson and Jordan Williams connived for the Dyip but the duo's efforts were not enough as Terrafirma continued its woes. Tiongson churned out 38 points while Williams collected 29 markers alongside 10 rebounds and five assists.
