Tautuaa, Manuel lead balanced SMB offense as Beermen rout Rain or Shine

Big men Mo Tautuaa and Vic Manuel led a balanced attack for San Miguel as they pulled off a 129-116 win over Rain or Shine in the 2023 PBA Governors’ Cup on Friday at the PhilSports Arena.

Tautuaa and Manuel each finished with 23 points with the former adding 12 rebounds and a steal to his name as the Beermen improved to 9-2 ahead of their playoffs campaign.

Rain or Shine, on the other hand, will end its campaign with a 2-9 slate.

Four other Beermen reached double digit scoring with Cameron Clark and Marcio Lassiter pouring in 20 points apiece while the import added nine rebounds and three assists.

CJ Perez also starred with a double-double of 20 points and 12 rebounds while Jericho Cruz chimed in with 12 markers.

Gian Mamuyac paced the Elasto Painters with a team-high 23 points while Beau Belga, Norbert Torres, and Nick Demusis chipped in 12 apiece in the losing effort.
