NUNS downs Fil-Nation to win third straight NBTC title

National University-Nazareth School won its third straight NBTC title after taking down Fil-Nation Select-USA, 75-64, in the Division 1 Finals of the 2023 NBTC at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Reinhard Jumamoy led NUNS with 16 points, 15 rebounds, 10 assists, and five steals which earned him the Ato Badolato Most Outstanding Player award. RJ Colonia, meanwhile, had 23 points and 10 rebounds, while Kurt Perciano added 10 markers.

Jason Mandaquit led Fil-Nation Select with 16 markers and six boards, while Evan Bayla had 13 points and 10 rebounds.

Jumamoy, Colonia, Mandaquit, and Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu's Jared Bahay and Raffy Celis composed the Division 1 Mythical Team.

In the Division 2 Finals, Team Tarlac beat Don Bosco-Dumaguete, 86-84.

The Division 2 Mythical Team include Most Outstanding Player Earl Sapasap (Team Tarlac),  Matthew Jucom (Don Bosco-Dumaguete), Lebron Nieto (Ateneo), Kaden Puletua (Homegrown Australia), and Sean Bondoc of Doc Bolero-NCR.
