Gilas Men book 3x3 semis slot with sweep of Laos, Vietnam, Indonesia
The Philippine national men's basketball team will advance to the semifinals of the 3x3 tournament after completing a sweep of its group games on Saturday in the 32nd Southeast Asian Games in Cambodia.
Gilas Pilipinas opened their campaign with a dominating 21-5 romp of Laos, before taking down Vietnam, 21-13. The team capped off its preliminary matches with a win over Indonesia, 21-11.

The team, composed of Almond Vosotros, Joseph Sedurifa, Joseph Eriobu, and Lervin Flores, will face no. 2 seed Thailand of Group B in the knockout semis, while Cambodia, 3-0, will face Vietnam, 2-1, in the next round on Sunday.
The national team finished with a bronze medal in the 2021 edition of the games in Hanoi.
