Mac Belo officially joins Rain or Shine, signs one-year deal

Mac Belo has officially joined Rain or Shine as the 30-year-old forward inked a one-year deal with the Elasto Painters ahead of the 48th season of the PBA this October.

The team announced the development on Wednesday, nearly 18 days after the franchise acquired the rights to the former FEU standout. Rain or Shine on May 18 traded Norbert Torres to Meralco in exchange for Belo.

This will be Belo's third team in the PBA after playing for Blackwater from 2016 to 2020 and Meralco from 2021 until the previous season.

He will join veterans Beau Belga, Gabe Norwood, and Rey Nambatac alongside young guns Anton Asistio, Andrei Caracut,  Shaun Ildefonso, and Gian Mamuyac.
