Victor Wembanyama 'couldn't ask for better role models' after meeting Spurs legends

San Antonio Spurs top NBA draft pick Victor Wembanyama felt right at home after meeting legends of the team.

Wembanyama on Sunday morning (Philippine time) posted a photo of him with Tim Duncan, David Robinson, Manu Ginobili, and Sean Elliott.

"Couldn't ask for better role models," Wembanyama wrote in his tweet. According to a report by ESPN, the photo was taken at a team dinner Friday nigh t.

The Spurs on Sunday also released a photo of him in uniform, along with San Antonio's only other pick Sidy Cissoko.

Wembanyama, 19, was selected first overall in the 2023 NBA Draft, while Cissoko was picked 44th overall.
