NBA 2K24 cover features late Kobe Bryant

Gaming company NBA2K on Thursday (US time) announced that the late basketball great Kobe Bryant will be featured on the covers of NBA 2K24.

Bryant is seen in the cover art of the game's Kobe Bryant edition and Black Mamba edition.

NBA 2K24 is expected to be released in September.

Kobe is a five-time NBA champion and two-time NBA Finals MVP. He was also the 2008 NBA regular season MVP and played 20 seasons in the NBA, all of them for the Los Angeles Lakers.

Bryant passed away in January 2020 in a helicopter crash, along with his daughter Gianna.
