Ralph Cu nails game-winner as Ginebra cops back-to-back PBA 3x3 titles

Ralph Cu buried the title-clinching basket as Barangay Ginebra escaped Meralco in overtime, 19-17, to reign supreme in the Leg 2 of the PBA 3x3 Season 3 First Conference on Tuesday at the Ayala Malls Circuit.

The win marked Ginebra's second leg title in the ongoing season as it previously defeated San Miguel in the opening leg last week.

En route to the title, Ginebra finished the elimination round with an even 1-1 win-loss card before pulling off a 17-13 win against the Purefoods TJ Titans in the quarterfinals.

The Gin Kings then eked out a 22-17 victory against Blackwater in the semifinals to arrange a finals duel with the Bolts. Cavitex, on the other hand, settled for bronze after a 19-15 triumph against Blackwater in the battle for third.
