Adrian Wong fires seven triples as Converge squeaks past NorthPort

Adrian Wong caught fire to lead Converge to a 113-84 victory against NorthPort to conclude its campaign in the 2023 PBA On Tour on Friday at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

Wong buried seven triples to finish with 23 points alongside five assists and three rebounds as the FiberXers improved to 6-5 while the Batang Pier slipped to 5-6.

Mike Nieto and Justin Arana, meanwhile, dropped double-double efforts as the former listed 19 markers and 13 boards while the latter had 15 points and 10 rebounds.

Earlier, Raymar Jose and Raymond Almazan saved his best for last to steer Meralco to a 103-95 victory against Rain or Shine as the Bolts ended their On Tour run with a 7-4 win-loss card while the Elasto Painters slipped to 8-3.

The former FEU big man dropped a double-double output of 22 points and 18 rebounds alongside one steal and one block while Almazan also poured in double-double effort of 18 markers and 15 boards.

Allein Maliksi shone off the bench with 18 points in 20 minutes together with seven rebounds and a steal.
