Jimmy Alapag joins Sacramento Kings’ coaching staff

Former Gilas Pilipinas and PBA star Jimmy Alapag will be fulfilling a dream as he will be part of Mike Brown's coaching staff in the Sacramento Kings for the next NBA season as a player development coach.

Alapag announced the development on early Saturday morning (Manila time).

“A DREAM COME TRUE,” Alapag wrote in the caption of his social media post.

“Proud to announce I'll be joining Coach Mike Brown and his staff as a Player Development Coach for the upcoming NBA season. Incredibly blessed and thankful for this opportunity,” he added.

Alapag also thanked those who supported him in his journey.

The former national team captain has also been a part of the coaching staff of the Kings’ NBA G League team Stockton Kings.
