Wilcon Depot 3x3 reigns supreme in Chooks Quest 3.0

Wilcon Depot 3x3 ruled the Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas 3x3 Quest 3.0 on Saturday at the Ayala Malls Solenad in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.

Jose Blasquez had nine points in the championship game as they took down the Pasig Banh Mi Kitchen, 19-15. TH Tumalip had seven points while Yutien Andrada added three points.

“We were fortunate when we invited him, he's available and he’s willing to go here,” said coach Anton Altamirano of Blasquez.

Wilcon Depot completed a five-game run in the quest, also with the help of Keith Datu.

The win earned them a slot to the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Cebu Masters in September.

“Honestly, we didn’t expect anything. We just wanted to give our best in this kind of competition and then God will take care of the results,” Altamirano said in a mix of English and Filipino.

Wilcon Depot recently placed third in the grand finals of the PBA 3x3 Season 3 First Conference.
