Jordan Clarkson, Team USA try out Filipino snacks

Many Filipinos not only love basketball, but also love food!

As some of the best basketball players of this generation headed to the Philippines for the 2023 FIBA World Cup, they were also asked to taste some of the favorite snacks of the Filipinos!

Like the Chocnut, which Tyrese Haliburton, Cam Johnson, Josh Hart tried.

"Melts really fast in your mouth, it's really good," Haliburton said.

Hart, who admitted he is 'not a peanut butter dude,' gave the snack a 2 out of 10.

Gilas Pilipinas' very own Jordan Clarkson, meanwhile, tried caramel puff.

"It's like pop corn but it doesn't get stuck in your teeth," he said.

However, it's not all fun and games for these international stars as they don their country's colors in the FIBA World Cup.

Clarkson and the rest of the Gilas squad will open their campaign on Friday at the Philippine Arena against the Dominican Republic, while Team USA will start their run on Saturday at the Mall of Asia Arena.
