Nikola Vucevic proud of Montenegro's World Cup campaign

Nikola Vucevic is proud of their campaign in the 2023 FIBA World Cup.

On Sunday, Montenegro survived a tough scare from Greece, 73-69, to cap their campaign in the World Cup.

"We stayed really poised tonight regardless of the pressure," Vucevic told the press after their win.

The Chicago Bulls star posted 19 points and seven rebounds as the Montenegrins finished with three wins and two losses in their campaign.

The federation also had an improved finish from 2019 as they placed 25th during the last edition of the World Cup.

Vucevic, meanwhile, is optimistic about the future of his team.

"[I'm] really proud of our World Cup and hopefully this is something we can build on."
