Uratex Dream finishes 3rd, TNT makes QF in Singapore 3x3 tilt

Philippine team Uratex Dream finished third in the Jumpshot 3x3 International Tournament in Singapore held over the weekend.

The team, composed of Kaye Pingol, Sam Harada, Mikka Cacho, and Eunique Chan fell to Japanese team Yokohama Glow in the semifinals, 21-14.

Prior to this, Uratex Dream opened its campaign with a loss to Thailand's CT Tigers, 21-16, before getting three straight wins against Singapore's Regina (21-12), BAS Women B (21-10), and Malaysia Rising Star (19-18).

Meanwhile, fellow Filipino team Uratex Tibay, composed of Shanada Anies, Joan Grajales, Maria Cecilia Junsay, and April Siat, finished sixth out of 10 teams in the tourney.

On the men's side, TNT Triple Giga reached the quarters but fell to Singapore's BAS Men B, 19-17, in OT to finish sixth overall out of 12 teams.

Another Filipino team in Kabayan Pilipinas also competed in the men's tournament and placed ninth.
