Right timing, right path: How JB Bahio landed in NLEX

JB Bahio's road to NLEX had a few detours and delays, but timing was a factor in reaching his eventual destination.

Bahio starred in the Road Warriors' 91-74 win against TNT, which apparently was a team that also tried to get the services of the San Beda product.

"When we found out na expired na [contract niya], na-timing na namin. TNT ang kumukuha sa kanya pero under contract pa siya [noon]," NLEX head coach Jong Uichico said while referring to Bahio's previous contract in the MPBL.

Bahio also had several chances in the past to be in the PBA.

Bahio was drafted by Terrafirma in the third round of the PBA Draft two years ago but as fate would have it, the Road Warriors took the chance on him.

Now, Bahio said he is just maximizing the opportunities being given to him.
