Gilas Pilipinas vs Saudi Arabia – FIBA Asia Cup 2025 Live Updates

Gilas Pilipinas will face host country Saudi Arabia as both teams fight for a spot in the 2025 FIBA Asia Cup quarterfinals.

The Philippines vs Saudi Arabia match will tip off on August 12, 12:00 a.m. (Philippine time).

Gilas head coach Tim Cone acknowledged that the path for the Philippines to the crown is a tough one, especially after opening their campaign with back-to-back losses against Chinese Taipei and New Zealand.

"We know the road is going to be tough, we know we picked a tougher road to go but we’re ready to accept that challenge," Cone previously said.

Saudi Arabia head coach Ricard Casas, meanwhile, said going against the Philippines will not be easy.

"We need more. We have our next match, it’s not [gonna be] easy, it’s very difficult. But everyday is difficult so we’ll give our best." he said.

The Philippines is ranked 34th in the world while Saudi Arabia is at no. 65.
