David Licauco relishes playing in 3x3 tourney: 'Something I’ll never forget'
David Licauco continues to live his dream.
On Saturday, David Licauco suited up for Taho Story A in the Pilipinas United 3x3 League, playing alongside Louie Vigil, Gryann Mendoza, and Tosh Sesay.
The 31-year-old Pambansang Ginoo said he is just happy to still compete at a high level despite his busy schedule and age.
“Like any other Filipino kid hindi ba, basketball ang pangarap.’Yun din ako eh, at my age, being able to play in this level, talagang nakakataba ng puso and [this is] something I will never forget,” Licauco said on Athena Imperial’s 24 Oras report.
Licauco shared that he and his team had a full day of training on Friday in preparation for the tournament.
Earlier, Taho Story fell short against SBB, 18–12, but bounced back with a 21–14 win over Smile 360 Dental.
